I have met many Great Men, in my life.
Many years ago I was given a great honor by a Shaman. Similar to the Dali Lama, he had been brought up from birth, to be the leader, of his people. After the ceremony, with great respect, I asked him: “What is the most important thing that I can learn, from you?”
I have asked this question of many Great Men.
He told me:
” You must not only be GOOD. You must be Wise.”
I spent my life, helping people, saving lives and often times I stood up against evil, wealthy and extremely powerful people and organizations. I did this with conviction, zeal and love for people and God. My Heart and Soul were always overflowing, no matter how poor I was with material things.
911 was, for me, a learning experience, in many ways. Four times, I crawled 6 levels deep, under the rubble, past the burning and smoldering jet fuel and into the flooded subways. I searched every single ‘nook and cranny’, for victims. I became highly poisoned with lead and other toxins. I was more dead than alive, for many years. At one point, I became intellectually and physically helpless. I could not speak and didn’t know my own name.
The events of life can always be a learning experience.
My illness was an opportunity, for revenge.
Nothing inflames , incites or infuriates evil as much as good.
ALL Major Disasters attract the forces of Good and Evil like moths to a flame.
The forces of good rush in to help and the forces of evil rush in to delight in the suffering and tragedy of victims. This was one of the most important lessons that I learned, at the major disasters of our world.
So it was, at 911.
Forces of Good rushed in to help. First Responders, like myself have paid with their health and life. Forces of evil rushed in, like Thompson Lang, owner of the Albuquerque Journal. He rushed in for profit, fun and the perversion of abusing the corpse of a dead NYC Firefighter with his gang of villains, like Eric Wade.
Lang, lives the life of a psychotic, evil and perverted villain. He inherited vast wealth, newspapers and a lust for power. Some people, like Thompson Lang, even if they have great material wealth; can only overcome their ‘basic inferiority complex’, by having the power, to harm others. Lang’s father tormented him. Now, he torments others.
Lang wanted me to give him an emergency pass and disguise him as a first responder, a member of our team. This would allow him to have exclusive media access, to the restricted/media prohibited areas, of 911.
I refused. I called him “an evil bastard”. I told him that “I couldn’t care less” if he was “the richest man, in the world”. I threw him out. Lang was red with rage and got his revenge upon me, when I was helpless, from my injuries.
I can tell you that the usual paths of all ‘truth’ and all ‘good’, are very similar.
The path of truth is first to be ridiculed, then to be violently opposed and then to be accepted as self evident. The path of all GOODNESS is to be in conflict with and attacked by the forces of evil.
The exceptionally GOOD person is to be ridiculed, as a fool. Secondly to be discredited, marginalized or destroyed with lies. Finally, if evil still hasn’t extinguished the flame of goodness; then the person, is to be assassinated.
Mahatma Ghandi was a prime example. He was attacked as a fool for giving up his wealth, power and status as a lawyer. Then he was published and arrested as a terrorist and a homosexual. Finally he was shot.
Mother Teresa, before her natural death was fraught with stories that she had ‘lost her faith, in God’, that she stole form the poor, that she was a whore and a criminal. Nothing new here. The same old story, told a different way.
The list goes on and on…Martin Luther King was declared to be a homosexual, a criminal, a phoney and a thief. He was arrested and attacked many times,.before they shot him.
A Good Man who has fought evil expects to be attacked and destroyed by the forces of evil. They cannot hurt his heart. Their attacks only make his heart stronger.
The one thing that hurts the heart of a GOOD Man is for another GOOD Man to believe, the lies and not have the wisdom to uncover the truth.
Forty years, later in life, I learn another aspect of the truth given to me by the Shaman. You must not only be Good. You must be Wise:
“A Wise Man will not be part of a mob. A Wise Man will get the facts. A Wise Man will not Hang an innocent man because it is more convenient than discovering the truth.
A Good and Wise Man will recognize another Good Man, for who and what he is and NOT for the lies that are told.”
The lessons that are available, to learn, from life.

Doug Copp with Pancho (Efrain Huaman) of National Fire Dept of Peru. Doug is a Fire captain with the National Fire Dept of peru; as well, as Rescue Chief of ARTI . Doug worked with NYPD at 911. Pancho worked with NYPD and Doug’s Invention, The Copp Casualty Locator at the Killing Fields Landfill recovering body parts, for 3 months.

Regarding my attending 911, 10th anniversary; I got as far as Boston and couldn’t go any further. I had to return home. ARTI and NYPD member Peter Donahue was arranging, for me to meet the son of Ray Downey, the leader of the NYFD UHR Team, who was killed along with his brother firefighters, at the onset of the tragedy.
I was disappointed , not to meet Ray’s son; since, it would have been a wonderful conclusion, to my friendship, with his father, Ray. Ray and I had collaborated on a UHR training event, with a real collapsed building, as the training area. This was scheduled to occur, 2 weeks after ’911′ intervened.
Chief Ray Downey, a great guy, died before I could get to 911 to join him. How much better the world would have been if Ray hadn’t been killed.

This last effort is my 4 th unsuccessful attempt to get to the 911 ceremony. My chest hurts like Hell and I go into convulsions, from the air pollution, before I can get near NYC. I don’t plan to try again.

A California newspaper exposes Tom Lang, Albuquerque Journal. exposed as a liar; using his newspaper as a personal weapon against ARTI and Copp. Copp thru Lang off the World Trade Center area for perverted and sick behavior. He disparaged the dead NYFD and NYPD which was unaceptable. When Copp was near death..Lang attacked him.
Prior to 911, I was the most experienced rescue person, in the world.
Permanently disabled from 911, I have changed my life-focus towards preventing bureaucracy and vested financial interests from causing the deaths of 200,000 children per year. I am promoting the belief that the lives of children are more important than American Insurance Company Shareholder profits.

Sometimes it is NOT enough to do good things ..you must be strong enough to endure the attack...that will follow; especially if you are trying to place children's lives ahead of USA Insurance Company Profits...crawling inside of 896 collapsed buildings helped to give me the courage that it takes; especially, considering that I have been sick every single day; since 911.
FYI: USA Insurance companies oppose my 'triangle of life' survival method; because, 90% of the children would survive; instead of 98% dead. This translates into//actuarial tables indicate, survivor's seeking compensation for trauma (physical or mental) with a net result of diminished shareholder return.
The insurance Company Executives told us: ” We are in the business of maximizing shareholder return..NOT..saving lives.”
The USA School Boards have been told by their Insurance Carriers that their policies would be terminated or the premium would become extreme..if the children are allowed to survive, following my method.
I tried to learn:
I am responsible for 'what I do' and for 'what I do NOT do'. I am responsible for 'MY actions'. I am not responsible for what other people do.
I discovered: that people never regret 'doing the right thing'. They only regret 'doing the wrong thing'.
A life devoid of 'something worth dying for', is a life, 'not worth living'.
Do all the living you can; while you can. 650,000 people died, at the major disasters I worked at..I have seen things that you cannot imagine.
For all the persecution, hatred, violence and disgusting behavior that I have endured; in fighting against, evil, greedy bastards who exploited the helpless and preyed upon people..I am glad that I always did 'the right thing'. I always stood up; many times, by myself; but never alone..
If you can't be YOURSELF then who can you be?
